MY VISION AS A PHOTOGRAPHER

I have two wonderful cameras that I carry around with me from time to time. My Canon T-70, that is often weighted down with my Kiron 105mm macro lens, is my camera of choice. The macro lens yields some incredible results and I highly recommend it.

When I can't keep up with the price of quality film and processing, I use my Nikon Coolpix 990. They are both way outdated and there is so much in the way of new technology, but I like to keep things simple, and I love the results of these two choices.

I love to focus on one small part of the whole picture, and then blur out the background to give a more abstract view of the subject. I am also drawn to scenes that have a surreal edge.

Whenever possible, I leave photographs as they are taken, and prefer not to use software to enhance images. There are times though, when some light and contrast changes, cropping, or color balancing can make all the difference. Still, I use natural light to get my desired results as much as possible. I don't have a flash on my T-70 so I tend to shoot a lot of nature scenes with that one, and preferably on an overcast day.

For ease in scrolling through the images, run your cursor over each image and use the arrow at the bottom of the image. To zoom in, click on the image and if the zoom feature is possible, it will open in a new page.
