Richard Davies
Richard is a musician, composer and lyricist who divides his life between composing music and practicing law.

Songwriting in the 90's for the Australian art-pop band the Moles, produced an eclectic style combining elements of the Beach Boys, Velvet Underground and eary Pink Floyd.

Richard has performed or recorded with the Flaming Lips, Ronald Jones, Bob Fay, Malcolm Travis and Kurt Ralske, AND, I had the privilege of playing bass for him at the Cake Shop in NYC last September. What fun!

Michael Schumacher's book Wreck of the Carl D.
As inspiring as it is moving, Wreck of the Carl D. is one of the most poignant shipwreck stories ever told. It chronicles the ill-fated sinking of the Carl D. Bradley off Gull Island in Lake Michigan on November 17, 1958. Overshadowed by the Edmund Fitzgerald, the story of the Carl D. comes to the forefront thanks to Michael's excellent account, and rightfully, this book is wooing the critics.

Robert Kenner's film, Food, Inc. exposes the nation's food industry and gives a peek into what really goes on behind closed doors at a handful of corporations who run control our food supply. If it doesn't make you want to change your eating habits, nothing will. Scary stuff...
