Winner of EBSQ's Member's Choice Award for "The Urban Street: Photographs from Town" 2007

One of the things I always find so attractive in big cities is old signage. This vintage sign from an old fan shop captivated me on this urban street in Manhattan, and is enhanced by the tenement style buildings behind it. Unfortunately, these signs are few and far between now - replaced by franchise and corporate logos. This photograph was shot with my Canon T-70.
